Human Resources, more like a POS in half of businesses. How the hell can these people not respond to job applications in a timely manner? People take the time to send their resume and cover letters and HR can't even give us the time of f'ing day if we asked. I know some may get a ton of applicants for certain jobs but at least send some sort of automated response to let us know whether we are being considered or not.

Got a college degree? We dont fucking care!
Ah the wonders of graduating! You know what pisses me off the most? Its the fact that half the people don't care you have a degree. "I see here you got a Bachelors of Science, I mean its not a masters but its ok." So I just went into debt to get a piece of paper, but you want to try and make me get another (most likely better looking) piece of paper! Naturally it could be I just suck and don't have the experience this HR dude wants, but damn have some respect for this paper I just dropped 30k on!
Now it isn't entirely accurate to suggest your degree is meaningless. Don't get me wrong, people see that piece of paper and automatically assume you are smarter than the average Joe. However we are not smarter as we just simply know more bullshit. Bullshit can be defined as randomly assigned variables to whatever randomly given textbook. For example, in my "Public Research Methods" class instead of just saying something like, "import this data and compare the results", we get, "To functionally utilize and manage data variables you need to import the current string or existing strings and analyze the current subtopics in your theory." See how much fluff was added? Unless your into something like Computer Science you learned more bullshit than you will ever utilize in your lifetime. Shit I just said "utilize".
